A great course, takes the time to explain everything that is going on, allowing you to experiment further with your own designs. I fully recommend the course and I love how they go into a whole unit with variations and not just one single warrior. I highly recommend this course if you want to sculpt a model to print.

Paolo Sartini

I found the course very useful and well explained, I recently approached Zbrush and thanks to this course I learned many useful things for my future projects! I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to create characters and then 3D print them !! Now that I have created the skeleton I start the course to create weapons and armor !!!

This course has been exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. A tutorial with an easy to follow pace and clear instructions. Josh doesn't use a custom Ui or hot keys either, which has been super helpful compared to other tutorials I've seen. Josh and Chris have also been super helpful and friendly on their discord, answering any questions one might have, and providing feedback on your projects.

Antar Howarth

Excellent. The focus on using just three or four core brushes is perfect.

Michael Tran

Amazing, I'm ready to learn more!

Justin Lane

of the many courses i have tried this has the best explanation of what zbrush is and the tools it has available, instruction is straight forward and explanation is perfect, I have learnt more with this course than i have with any other so far!!!

Joel Davis

these guys have delivered a VERY solid product here, do not miss your chance to learn 3d sculpting. They took a very daunting process and daunting model and made it easy to be perfectly frank. I've struggled over the last 10 years trying to learn on my own or through other courses and none compare to this one. Don't miss out on the best Zbrush instructor you'll find! Okay, so I have officially finished this first part and I couldn't be happier with my results!

Borislav Zivkovic

Very good teaching, with a clear and nice procedure.

Very Timely - I just recently purchased a 3D printer and now I'm learning to make 3D printable objects! Very excited - might have to go back and take the skeleton class next.

FAQ

  • What exactly is Runeforge Academy?

We create beginner-friendly courses showing you how to create the same models that we 3D print and sell on our website: Runeforge.com By the end of any course, you will have the knowledge to create your own designs.

  • Am I allowed to sell the models I learn to make in your course?

Yes and No. We supply the base models to students taking courses that require models from previous courses. (IE: We give a skeleton model to the student who wants to take the "Skeleton Warrior" course without taking the "Skeleton" course.) These models are ours and are not to be resold. However, any models that you make with the aid of our courses are yours to sell. Although we would appreciate it if you changed the designs enough to look unique from ours.

  • Do I have to take all of the courses?

No. Every course was designed to be a student's first course. You will have a finished printable miniature at the end of every course. (multiple miniatures for most courses) Although we do encourage you to take as many of our courses as you can. Some software features aren't applicable to every model so you should still learn something new in each course.

  • Do I own the courses after I pay?

When you purchase a course or a course bundle, you own it for life. You may access it whenever you like and you will never be charged for it again. If you purchase the "All Access Membership" you will have access to every course we offer for as long as you remain a member. You must continue to pay $9.95 per month (or $99 per year) to remain a member. You may cancel at any time. However, your access to content will be removed after your billed month has passed.

  • Is there a contract for the All Access Membership?

No. Membership is month to month. You may join for as little as one month or remain a member for as long as you would like. We offer a discount on the annual pass if purchased for one year (12 months) in advance. You may cancel the annual pass within thirty (30) days of purchase for a full refund.

  • Can I try before I buy?

Yes and No - All courses have the first several lessons available as a free preview. You should be able to get a strong feel for the course during this time. If you purchase and decide that it is not for you, we do offer a full refund within thirty (30) days of purchase.

  • What if I don't like the course? Can I get my money back?

Yes. We offer a full refund within thirty (30) days of purchase. This is available for individual courses, course bundles, and the All-Access Membership.

  • How long will it take me to create a printable miniature?

This will largely depend on you. However, we have had several students finish a course and print their first miniature successfully within three weeks.

  • I don't own a 3D Printer. Will you print my miniature for me?

Maybe - While we have done this for some students, we can't promise to do it for everyone. This will depend on how busy our printers are. We only have two 3D printers in house which are used to fill orders to end-use customers on Runeforge.com
